The surviving family members of the five men who died on their voyage to see the Titanic have sued Joe Biden for $100 billion. They blame him for their loved ones’ deaths, even though the government had nothing to do with any of it.

The four families are going after Biden because he’s the president, and for some reason they think he personally made the CEO of OceanGate declare that “safety is waste.” (Yes, patriots, he really said that.)

Biden’s reaction: “Oh, that’s a bunch of malarkey. Come on, man.”

Sandy Batt, spokeswoman for the families, commented, “It might seem ridiculous to sue the president over the deaths of five idiots who thought it was a cool idea to get in a metal tube, sink two and a half miles into the pitch black sea, and peer through a window at some twisted metal. But is it any more ridiculous than going on the voyage itself? No, it’s not.”

Ms. Batt was fired after making that statement. Apparently telling the truth doesn’t sit well with the billionaire set.

The world knows no greed like the greed of a billionaire, does it?

The lawsuits will go on for years, cost millions, and won’t change the fact that hubris won’t save anyone from stupidity and implosions.
