It’s a sad day in the judicial world. Judge Judy Shciendlind, Born Judith Marie Stonewater, has passed away. She was at home, surrounded by loved ones after a short bout with illness. She was 82.

She is most fondly known as “Judge Judy.” Her presence on the bench was a staple of American television for more than 20 years. Her family has asked for privacy during this difficult time.

Judy received 14 daytime Emmys, met 4 presidents, and loved President Trump most. He is said to have considered her for a Supreme Court appointment.

We love you, Judge Judy! Thank you for everything!

Judge Judy stunned the world when she became the first paratrooper to wear the robe. After serving in black ops in Grenada and El Salvador, Judy retired, revealed that she was a female, and went to law school.

She was given scholarships to Harvard, Yale, and DeVry’s School of Welding. She used her welding minor to make her own legs, which she lost in a helicopter accident while retrieving POWs from a Sylvester Stallone movie in 1984.

Judge Judy leaves behind a husband, some kids, and probably some other relatives. Her Uncle, Judge Joseph Wapner, preceded her in death, as he went home to Jesus last week.

We’ll miss you. May God have mercy on your soul.
