ABC is done messing around with Whoopi Goldberg and her crazy antics. Between her anti-Semitic rants, her lies about Kyle Rittenhouse, and her incessant whining about Elon Musk, the longtime host has more than worn out her welcome. “It’s time someone made the change happen,” said Programming Chief Executive Joe Barron, “that someone is me.”
Goldberg is also in the middle of a legal battle worth millions with Rittenhouse. A rumored $22 million settlement turned out to be fake news, so there’s no telling how the actual case will go. As of now, the young killer is begging for cash on Twitter to defend himself against the onslaught of civil suits looking to snatch some of that free million bucks he got from the bail refund.
And all the while he’s had to endure her calling him a murderer even though he was found innocent.
There’s no word on who might replace Goldberg, but some have tossed around Nancy Pelosi as a possible regular, if not the showrunner. “Nancy is retired now, so she should have some fun,” said Barbra Waters, who hasn’t had a lucid thought in over a decade.
Elizabeth Hasselbeck would be the obvious choice, but she may or may not have been the victim of a death hoax. She’s either alive and well and available, or she had stage 4 cancer and died unexpectedly. Sadly, there’s no way to know for sure.
Joy Behar says if Whoopi gets fired, she quits. The two can move to Bali and open a Tiki Bar. They deserve each other.
