RIP: Bob Newhart, Lifelong NRA Member And Close Friend Of Ronald Reagan

Today is a sad day. One of the greatest conservative figures on television has passed away. Bob Newhart was a lot of things. He was a family man. He was a lifelong NRA member who strongly believed in our Second Amendment rights. He was a good friend to the Reagan family. And finally, he was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump.

None of us can forget when Newhart took the mic at a Trump campaign rally in Arkansas and declared, “We will build the wall, Mexico will pay for it, and President Trump will lead us into an era of prosperity!”

While Bob only got to see the first two years of President Trump’s great, new America, it is exactly what he said it would be. Jobs are up, unemployment is down, the stock market is in a good place, and we finally respect the law.

Bob Newhart was a good man — a Christian, a guy who helped propel Ronald Reagan’s career through his support, and someone who loved America more than anything.

Newhart passed away after he was deemed too old to receive a heart transplant he sorely needed. He passed away from complications after a particularly bad heart attack.

Newhart may have passed on, but he will continue to do some good in the world. He has earmarked 50% of his estate to be donated to the Republican Party’s Trump re-election campaign as well as numerous conservative causes like FreedomWorks, The National Committee For Life, NARAL, NAMBLA, GLAAD, MADD, Committee for Church And State, and a donation to Breitbart News.

Bob Newhart was a great man and a strong Republican who should serve as an example to the rest of us, our children, and our grandchildren.

Thoughts and prayers, Bob! We’re sure you’re looking down on us from Heaven and smiling.
